2910 Float & Tape Transmitter

The 2910 Float & Tape Transmitter (FTT) provides data from the tank side to the control room for use in inventory management volumetric calculations. It is also able to integrate a single temperature sensor and provide inputs and outputs for basic automation and control.

Absolute Accuracy and Reliability

The 2910 FTT utilizes an absolute capacitance encoder and precision direct-drive gearing to accurately convert the mechanical level measurement from the connected tank gauge - the most accurate encoder technology on the market today. What's more, the encoder requires no service, no battery back-up and contains no parts that can wear out over time.

Automation and Control

The 2910 FTT provides the first steps to automation and control. It can activate alarms or relays using discrete inputs, SPDT cam-operated outputs and software-driven contact outputs.

Tank Installation

On Your Tank

The 2910 FTT is easy to install. It mounts directly to most mechanical tank gauges (Varec, GSI, L&J, Sakura) and integrates into existing tank gauging communication loops (MODBUS®, Mark/Space, Tankway).

Simplicity If Needed

If a simple level alarm system is needed the 2910 FTT can be ordered with only limit switches. This configuration does not require power at the unit.

Rated For Safety

The 2910 FTT is third-party approved for use in explosion hazardous areas, just as you would expect.
